I was very impressed with customer service when I called to share my concerns about the quality of the item, but the manufacturing defects prevent the assembly of the knee walker.
I’m not weight-bearing on my left foot for four or six weeks. The knee scooter, has given me the freedom to move around in my own house and outside. It’s a godsend thank you John Wilson.
Ankle replacement for me. I got it early so I could get accustomed. Adjustability is great, cushion adequate, basket a huge plus. I haven't moved this fast in ten years!
In the manual it shows 2 long bolts, and 2 short. I received 3 short and 1 long. I cannot put this together, I have tried and normally don't have too much trouble with assembly. I am still injured and really could use the $80 I spent on this thing to be honest. I borrowed a working knee scooter from a friend, old and rusty but it works. VERY DISAPPOINTED
It was very easy to put together. It’s nice to have the basket on the front. The bigger wheels in the back help with not falling over. The color is brilliant robin egg blue…beautiful!! I love it!!!
I bought this for my broken foot. Very comfy. Easy to ride. A litte tough to fold up. A button to press would have made it easier to fold instead of having to pry the latch over with your finger. Overall I recommend it. Good value. Good price.
I had bunion surgery and bought this to use once I took my boot off. I had to have another surgery and am in a cast. Thank goodness I had this scooter as crutches are out the question.
I love this knee scooter. I do recommend a towel to rest on the padded knee area. I had a broken leg and wound on the knee and the leather was not comfortable.
My order of my knee wheel was easy to order off Amazon came quickly and so far I¡¯m pleased with it but that free knee pad your offering for my experience will be very good because the knee pad is pretty hard
I recently fractured my ankle and quickly found out crutches are much harder to use in my 50s then in my 30s. I had no idea about these knee scooters but so glad I did. This scooter is fantastic. It¡¯s very sturdy and affordable. I gave a rating of 4 for three reasons. It only takes wide turns so in the house you have to go back and forth until you turn enough to go through the door. Second reason is the knee pad is uncomfortable. Not enough padding to decrease shock to the knee. Third it¡¯s kind of hard to fold the scooter enough to get into the car. I¡¯m very happy with the purchase. I found out I will need the mobility help longer then expected. Had I know that I probably would have gone with the deluxe or all terrain model. Update: I did purchase an all terrain(different brand) and I¡¯m not too happy with it. The wheels are much larger so my boot rubs against the back tires. The front tires are so large I roll it over my foot. It doesn¡¯t work easily in the house. It feels like I¡¯m rolling on tires with no air but they have air. (See my review of that scooter). I returned that scooter.
My 12 yo daughter broke her foot and was having a hard time with her crutches. So we bought this knee scooter and she loves it! She can get around better and faster than with the crutches.
I am a paralegal and I work in a very busy law firm. My doctor wanted me 100% off my feet but that seemed nearly impossible in my profession, and I couldn't afford to take the time off work. I am constantly running from one attorney's office to another and I am usually carrying client files with me. This scooter is great and makes it possible for me to get to where I am going and even take the files with me as they fit perfectly in the basket! I am also an "older" woman and I am still able to use the scooter with ease. It is so easy to use that I get to travelling a little fast at times so some of the guys in the office posted a "slow down" sign on my desk! LolI also loved the cost! I am always cautious about ordering online but I am very impressed with this scooter and would recommend to everyone I know!
You had an invalid physical address, not my valid address, on my Fedex shipment and Fedex did not catch the error. The zip code did not match the street number. They claim they delivered it to that invalid address, but they did not. I went to the house and street address with the invalid zip code and it was not delivered there. I paid for shipping protection for a lost shipment, which this is, but xcotton said they can’t help me. I also got no help from you. I contacted Fedex and they said since you chose Ground Economy, there isn’t anything they can do. So I paid $70 for a product I will never see. Horrible situation. All I asked of your customer service was to ship a replacement scooter to my correct address (which is in your system on my profile) and you refused. I’m not trying to get money back, I just want what I paid for.
I love it. 100 times better than crutches, canes or walkers.
The only "complaint" I ave is that the tip of the left brake has gouged my right ankle when navigating turns sometimes. After the first painful injury I keep accidentally banging it from time to time. I need to devise some kind of ankle armor or shield I suppose.
I still love it, but am trying to be consciously careful.
Put steering stops on it so the front wheels can't turn under the scooter, I put mine together and made 15 feet and the front wheels went under the scooter and I fell on concrete thru a doorway and busted my elbow and my pride, So it's not my favorite horse in the stable right now, but I will break it to ride.
I got it for my brother-in-law who had foot surgery. He tried to get around with crutches, but he kept bumping into things and falling. With the knee walker he’s getting around great and his quality of life has greatly improved.
Sturdy for my 6' son and easy enough for me to lift!
I bought this knee walker for my son, and he absolutely loves it. He is 6 feet tall and close to 300 pounds, so I was worried about finding something sturdy enough, but this has been perfect. It supports his weight completely and gives him his independence back. He uses it for our short daily walks, any time he leaves the house, and even takes it to watch his daughter's volleyball games. As a 60-year-old woman, my biggest concern was whether I could transport it. I am happy to say that I can easily fold it down and pack it into the trunk of the car all by myself. It is light enough for me to manage but heavy-duty enough for him to feel safe. To top it all off, it shipped incredibly quickly, and the price was unbelievable—just $77 total including tax and shipping! You cannot beat the value for this level of quality. Highly recommend!
It went together easily! I'm practicing with it to get comfortable before a surgery and so far, so good. Being able to adjust the handle height is so important. Hopefully, this is the only time I need it.
I have two of them. This was the 2nd one I purchased. I think its less quality, as well as the handlebars.
My 1st on is 16.5 inches wide, which makes it much more stable then the new on which is 14 inches wide.
These handlebars make a huge difference. The wheels are way skinnier, which also makes is less stable then the other one.
I will have to use this because I need both, but kinda disappointed on the new one.
The knobs un tighten slowly and you’re constantly afraid the scooter will fall apart if you don’t check and re-tighten all the knobs.
I’m sorry in selected this company
